Strategi Peningkatan Produksi Padi Lahan Suboptimal

Kabupaten Aceh Barat memiliki potensi lahan suboptimal berupa kering yang cukup luas mencapai 9.227,7 Ha. Perluasan areal panen dan peningkatan produktivitas padi bahan pangan lainnya menjadi suatu keharusan guna memenuhi kebutuhan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu merumuskan strategi dalam meningkatkan produksi pada di Barat. Penelitian dilakukan Kecamatan Woyla Timur, Barat, Provinsi Aceh. Metode menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data digunakan data primer sekunder. Penarikan sampel teknik purposive sampling. Sampel berjumlah 38 responden petsni membudidayakan psdi kering. Menganalisis perumusan SWOT. Hasil sawah adalah adanya campur tangan pemerintah sosialisasi teknologi tepat suboptimal, juga menjaga ketersediaan benih Varietas Unggul Baru (VUB), pupuk alsintan.
